Hi, my name is Beats. I’m an illustrator and writer with a fascination for the business and sexuality of NSFW creativity.
I got started back on Tumblr as HentaiBeat, amassing 40,000 followers and even becoming an official h-manga screenshotter for Fakku. The inspiration for Beat was musical, contrary to what you might think 👀
HBeatsArt came after I played Skullgirls and tried drawing Valentine. My mum said it was “pretty good!”, and thus began my art journey.
Since then, I’ve grown several NSFW initiatives:
- The Business of NSFW blog, which reaches 14,000 readers monthly and hosts a variety of resources.
- The NSFW Artists Guild, a community of 1,200 NSFW creatives.
- B-Side Poser, a spicy pose reference subscription service.
- And recently, BtwnB, a blog about exploring healthy integration of sexuality and creativity.
NSFW continues to be a big part of my life, and I love supporting this community and seeing artists grow. I hope you’re as excited as I am to be in this field.
